How to Get to Redmond

Redmond is served by State Routes 520, 908 and 202, providing Redmond residents with quick access to the Eastside communities of Bellevue and Kirkland as well as the Evergreen Point Bridge for the commute into Seattle. SR 520 also connects with Interstate 405, which runs along the east bank of Lake Washington. Interstate 405 connects with Interstate 5 in Renton to the south and Lynnwood in the north.

Metro Transit and Sound Transit offer local and express service from Redmond to hubs of employment on the Eastside and downtown Seattle. Major Park-and-Ride lots are located in downtown Redmond, east Redmond, and in the Overlake area. Carpool and vanpool information are available through Metro by calling 206-625-RIDE.

Depending on the weather, as many as 2,000 people ride their bicycles to work in Redmond, with Metro buses providing special bike racks for cyclists. There are more than 28 miles of designated bike paths on the Eastside, about 20 miles of on-street bike lanes, and more than 90 miles of bike routes across the region.

FROM THE SOUTH AND WEST (SEATTLE): Take Interstate 5 or I-405 to SR520. Take SR520 Eastbound all the way to Redmond. Take the Redmond Way exit. Take a left onto Redmond Way and go about one mile to the old part of downtown Redmond. Turn right onto Leary Way, go one block and turn left onto NE 80th St. The Chamber is two blocks on the right at 16210 NE 80th St. Parking is available on the street or behind the building in the Chamber parking lot.


FROM THE NORTH AND EAST (KIRKLAND, I-405): From I-405 North or South, take the Redmond-Kirkland exit (#18) and go east on NE 85th St. to Redmond. The road will become Redmond Way as you near Redmond. At the first light past the train overpass, turn right onto Cleveland St. At the next light turn left onto Leary Way. Go two blocks and turn left onto NE 80th St. The Chamber is one block down on the right at 16210 NE 80th St. Parking is available on the street or behind the building in the Chamber parking lot.
